This is the Clean Step Mat. It's a dormat that's made of cotton and mircofiber - like those Zorbees cloths. There's also a rubber backing so it doesn't slide.
Before we can use it thought, the instruction say you have to wash it in cold water and then dry it.
I'll test it out here on the deck for safety reasons - the big one being that if it doesn't work and I track up the house, my safety would be in danger.
So, I've got some snow here. I'll just stomp through it and get it into the boot bottom. Now, the box says you just step across - you don't need to wipe your feet.
It's kind of small, wo we'll have to do this the long way. There's enough room to get each boot on once. And as I walk away - I see there's tracking. Part of the boot print is visible.
It's also supposed to absorb mud. I've mixed up some here and will take a walk across the mat. You can see it did pick up some of the dirt, but again, tracks were left behind.
Clean Step Mat, you can't just step to clean... so you might not want to tread on this one.
