This is the Perfect Tortilla... you get an instruction sheet and 4 pans.
They're pressed into this shape with the waves and it seems like it's a non-stick coating on them. You don't have to use a spray when cooking with them.
They're designed to fit both an 8" and 10" tortillas. They go in easily and do conform to the pan.
The instructions say to bake the tortillas for 5-7 minutes and up to 10 if you want it more crispy... the larger ones are from 7-10 minutes. We'll make the small one crispy and the large one regular.
After about 5 minutes, I thought I'd better check it. The nose knows after all. And sure enough, the small one was a lot darker than what you'd want, the larger one in not as bad of shape. We'll let it cool off before pulling them out. In the meantime, I'll put 2 more in and reduce the time.
The 2 shells do come out easily, but are clearly overdone.
The second batch turned out just fine and taste like you'd expect.
Perfect Tortilla - you may have to experiment to get it perfect, but it does get the job done.
Is It Worth It??? Yes.
