Sign-Up to be a Volunteer on the Trip of a Lifetime

About 100 veterans are taking a trip of a lifetime. The 4th Never Forgotten Honor Flight took off at 7 AM from the Central Wisconsin Airport on Monday.

The Never Forgotten Honor Flight takes World War II veterans free of charge to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials and monuments dedicated to them.

This trip is made possible thanks to numerous volunteers.

Volunteers/Guardians must be between the ages of 18-69. They are required to pay the costs of their trip which is approximately $500. If you'd like to be a volunteer or guardian, you can find the application at the link below. But you don't have to go on the trip to be a part of the experience. Volunteers are also needed for other duties. That application can be found at the same link below.

Also if you are a World War II veteran or know a veteran who'd like to take the trip, you can find the application at the following link. Anyone who served during WWII (either stateside or overseas) is eligible for the trip. Veterans are accepted on a first come first served basis - with terminally ill veterans receiving first priority.
