Honor Flight Plans Two Unprecedented Trips

The Never Forgotten Honor Flight chapter, was founded and sent its first two flights in 2010. This year they have already sent two flight and will send two more in September and October.

The program sends veterans to see the monuments in Washington, D.C.

If you are looking to get involved or help fund future trips, You can head to the Facebook link below for more information. The Harley's Heroes motorcycle ride fundraiser hits the road on Saturday, June 18 from the Wausau Harley Davidson at 9 a.m.

The amount of flights the group will send depends on how many veterans apply. They are eager to honor all of the vets that qualify while they are still with us. You can request an application by calling (715) 573-8519
