- The 12th Never Forgotten Honor Flight from Central and North Central Wisconsin took 95 veterans from the Korean War, 3 from WWII and 1 from Vietnam to see the memorials in Washington, D.C. free of charge.
- What started as a three minute clip on YouTube is now a feature length film opening to rave reviews. "Honor Flight" documents the journies of four WWII veterans and a group of Midwest volunteers as they race against the clock to give them a trip of a lifetime.
- They were surprised during Monday's Veterans Day celebration at the school complex, which this year centered around the organization that takes veterans to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials made in their honor.
- Dozens of veterans from our area who boarded the Never Forgotten Honor Flight are now in Washington D.C. visiting the monuments at our nation's capitol that commemorate their service.
