Doctors Warn of Acute Heart Failure During Heart Month

The importance of knowing the warning signs of acute heart failure or AHF.

Every 30 seconds someone is hospitalized with acute heart failure or AHF. It's also the leading cause of hospitalization in patients over 65.

In time for heart month, Sunrise 7's Sean Caldwell spoke with Dr. Hal Skopicki , a leading cardiologist specializing in heart failure as well as the director of the Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Center at Stony Brook Hospital in New York.
