Ministry Medical Group in Weston will host “Weight Connections,” an educational and informative discussion on Weight Loss on Thursday, December 5.
Olga Barchugova, MD, a Ministry Medical Group family medicine physician specializing in weight loss medicine, will discuss why people gain weight, review diets, lifestyle modifications and weight loss medications and answer questions about dietary supplements.
Calvin Selwyn, MD, a Bariatric surgeon with Ministry Medical Group, will discuss the surgical alternatives to weight loss and highlight Ministry’s bariatric program designation as a Center of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (COEMBS).
Weight Connections will be held in the Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital Conference Center with registration and light refreshments at 5:30 p.m., the program will follow at 6 p.m.
Weight Connections is a free program, but registration is requested by calling NurseDirect at 800.362.9900.
Participants should use parking lot and entrance #3 on the campus of the Weston Regional Medical Center for best access to Weight Connections.
