Pro-Pot Group Hopes for Bill to Legalize Medical Marijuana in January
NORML, a group that advocates marijuana legalization hopes this week's referendums that legalized it in Washington and Colorado opens the door for the same type of action in Wisconsin.
NORML says it will work for the legalization of medical marijuana in Wisconsin first, with a bill in the legislature as early as January.
It believes pot smoking is more widespread than most people think.
Safe and Sound, a group that works to build positive communities and reduce crimes is against the idea of full legalization, but says it would not oppose medical marijuana.
