Marathon County residents are invited to exchange their mercury thermometers for digital ones, until supplies last at seven area locations.

There is no cost for the exchange. There is a limit to one thermometer per customer. Mercury thermometers have a silver line down the center. Red or blue lines indicate safe, alcohol thermometers.
