"Splash Into Safety" Happening This Weekend in Wausau

It's Monday and time to focus on your health. This week, it's about keeping kids safe around water.

Safe Kids Coordinator, Michelle Armstrong, stopped by Sunrise 7 Monday morning to talk about an upcoming water safety program called, "Splash Into Safety."

The event is Saturday at the Kaiser Pool in Wausau from 10:30 a.m. until 12:15. Check-in is from 10-10:30. Kids will learn about a variety of topics including boating safety, life jacket safety, and deep water safety, just to name a few.

You do have to register your kids, the number to call is 715-847-2380. Kids must have an adult with them on Saturday.
