Flu Clinics Held this Week in Rhinelander, Woodruff

Aspirus clinics in Rhinelander and Woodruff are holding flu clinics for the public this week.

Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic is holding flu clinics on October 16 and 26 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and on October 20 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Aspirus Woodruff Clinic is holding its flu clinic on October 24 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome on all dates. To schedule an appointment, call Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic at 715.361.5480 or Aspirus Woodruff Clinic at 715.358.8610.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends all healthy children ages 6 months to adult get vaccinated against the seasonal flu. However, the vaccines are highly recommended for anyone over the age of 65, people with serious long-term health problems such as heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, anemia, and people with weakened immune systems due to cancer treatment, steroid therapy or HIV/Aids.
