The Eye Clinic of Wisconsin, S. C. has announced a new 6,000 square-foot ambulatory surgery center slated to open in January 2013.

The new EC Laser and Surgery Institute of Wisconsin will be located in the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin’s primary office at 800 North First Street in Wausau.

Once fully operational, the EC Laser and Surgery Institute is expected to increase employment by 9 positions at the downtown Wausau location.

A facility dedication and open house is planned for mid-December. .
