Breast cancer survivors are inspiring walkers and runners to take part in this weekend's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event in Wausau.

Dawn Gilbertson has been cancer free for two years. Co-workers watched her fight against the disease.

Now, 78 people have been inspired by her courage. They've signed up for the "Dawn's Divas and Dudes" team based at the Marathon Electric Regal-Beloit Plant.

Gilbertson says she's overwhelmed by the support. "It's just so hard to describe because the emotions just keep pouring out of everybody, people you don't expect it from."

"Dawn's Divas and Dudes" team doubled in size from last year.
Seven team members are cancer survivors.

There is still time to sign up for Sunday's event in Wausau.
