Assembly Committee Endorses Medical Marijuana

The Assembly Committee on Children and Families is recommending medical marijuana be legalized in Wisconsin.

A video on the WisconsinEye website says the vote in the committee was 7-to-1.

You may recall a Rib Lake woman who says cannabis oil could help her son's seizures was among those who testified before the committee.

The proposal would still have to pass the full legislature and the governor would have to sign it for medical marijuana to become legal in Wisconsin.
