Allergy Season Peaks, Frost Could Provide some Relief

For allergy sufferers who were hoping the frosty mornings this week might bring relief, allergists say it may not be enough to kill all the weeds. They say this is the peak for ragweed and fall mold and plenty of people have been in to get help.

Mayo Clinic Allergist, Adela Taylor, says "When you're miserable your eyes are itchy, watery, your nose is stuffy and runny, you definitely want to seek relief and we have been seeing more patients this August and September."

Allergists says avoidance, showering and shampooing at night, along with the use of antihistamines can ease your symptoms. If nothing is working, go see an allergist.
