A former Olympic runner is willing to cheer you on if you’re willing to help put an end to breast cancer.

This summer Suzy Favor Hamilton is going to be a part of the first ever Susan G. Komen Central Wisconsin Race for the Cure.

The SPASH grad will be lacing up her sneakers for the August 22nd race and hopes you will too. And don’t worry. She’s not in it to win it.

"I'm here to embrace the race and celebrate everybody. I'm talking during the race. I'm blabbing the whole race and talking to the people and encouraging them and if somebody looks like they're getting tired maybe I'll hold their hand,” Hamilton said.
