Criminal charges have now filed against a Milwaukee man accused of fleeing an officer and crashing his vehicle into Good Times Charlies in Wisconsin Rapids last month.

Online court records show Devin Phillips, 26, will be charged with four counts manufacturing or delivering cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, fleeing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Phillips was arrested and is behind bars in the Wood County Jail.

Investigators say a Wisconsin Rapids home was searched and 64 grams of crack cocaine, with a street value of $6,400 was seized, along with $3,000 in cash.

An employee at Good Times Charlies said the damage to their building was minimal.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is expected to be charged in Wood County with four counts delivery cocaine, delivery of heroin, fleeing an officer and a possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.

The suspect led officers on a brief chase before he reportedly crashed into Good Time Charlies. The suspect fled the vehicle but was arrested a short time later.

A search of a Wisconsin Rapids home resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of crack cocaine, with a street value of $6,400. Officers also seized $3,000 cash.

The suspect, Devin Phillips was arrested and is behind bars in the Wood County Jail.

An employee at Good Time Charlies in Wisconsin Rapids said no one was at the business when vehicle crash into it Thursday.

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department said a chase began when they tried to pull a 26-year-old man over on charges of delivery of cocaine and heroin.

Police say the driver took off leading them on a chase through the city.
The chase ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed into the business and ran off.

The suspect was arrested a short time later on a probation hold.

The Wisconsin Rapids School District was on lock down for about 10 minutes during the pursuit.

The press release says police executed a search warrant at a west side residence for the case. It does not say if officers found anything.

The employee says damage to the building is minimal.
