Winter Wonderland Raises $21K for Area Food Pantries

The Rotary Winter Wonderland display at the Wildwood Zoo in Marshfield says so far they have raise $21,000 and more than 20,000 cans of food for area families in need.

Every year the guests drive through, or walk though the holiday display that features one million LED lights. In lieu of an admission charge visitors are asked to bring food or monetary donations to benefit food pantries in Marshfield and the surrounding areas.

The display is open 7 days a week starting from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. until Dec. 31.

The Rotary Winter Wonderland display at the Wildwood Zoo in Marshfield opens for the season on Friday.

This year the displays are made up of more than 1 million LED lights. To get a look at the beautiful set-up all you need to do is bring in a non-perishable food item. All the food will then be donated to area families in need.

The display is open 7 days a week starting 11/29 - 12/31 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
