A Marathon County Court Clerk with a history of embezzlement is now charged with stealing from a former employer.

Susan Adams, 58, is charged with seven counts of forgery and one count of embezzlement of up to five thousand dollars. The alleged crimes happened while Adams worked for a Wausau law firm.

The Wausau Daily Herald cites a criminal complaint stating Adams was convicted of embezzling more than $100,000 from M&I Bank in Wausau in 1994. According to that criminal complaint she was also fired in 2003 from a Rothschild company under suspicion of theft.
