A 31-year-old Wausau man police considered to be armed and dangerous is now in custody and is expected to be charged Wednesday afternoon.
On October 8, the Wausau Police Department issued an alert and for help locating Julian Alvarez. He is the suspect in a domestic incident and officers say he threatened a witness with bodily harm and is also known to carry weapons.
Alvarez is expected to be charged with 2nd degree sexual assault, two counts of false imprisonment, battery, strangulation and suffocation, substantial battery-Intend bodily harm, and disorderly conduct. Online court record list the charges as stemming for an incident on September 1.
