Wausau Man Charged in Aug. Cocaine Bust

A 36-year-old Wausau man is in custody after court documents say he sold nearly $500 worth of cocaine to an undercover agent.

According to the criminal complaint on August 5, Dedrick Green sold $200 worth of cocaine to the informant . Court document say officers dropped the informant off near Bridge Street and Sixth Street in Wausau. The informant would then walk to the Family Video parking lot and meet Green. On August 15, investigators say the informant made another purchase from Green for $250.

Green is charged with two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place and two counts manufacturing/delivering cocaine.

He'll return to count on October 7.

The arrest is result of a collaborative effort between the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, Wausau Police Department, and Everest Metro Police Department.
