Wausau Area Builders Home Show This Weekend

If you have been itching to rip out that 1960's kitchen and putting in a sleek new one, the time has never been better to get ideas for the project.

The Wausau Area Builders Home Show runs through the weekend at the Patriot Center in Rothschild. It's the 38th year for the home show and organizers say they are expecting thousands.

You can find information on everything from wall paint to cookware and even meet with contractors if you are thinking about building a new house from the ground up.

The show doesn't just cater to the interior of your home. With spring right around the corner, the time has never been better to add a new patio or garden space.

"It's a great opportunity for people in our area to come out and meet with professional contractors," says Russ Utech, Chairman for the show. "You can meet them and see if they can be of assistance to them with their upcoming projects."

The show is open Friday from noon to eight, Saturday from 9 to 5, and Sunday from 10 to 3.
