Walmart Unveils New "Healthy" Icon

The nation's largest retailer is now part of the healthy food chain label.

Walmart unveiled an icon Tuesday, which will symbolize their healthier food initiative.

Walmart's Senior Vice President of Sustainability says some of their food products will be labeled "Great For You".

The goal is to help customers make healthier food choices.

    Walmart is telling you that you are not intelligent enough to make your own decision. And you believe them. I'm shopping locally. Wally world can fall for all I care.

    I agree, but until people want to pay more for American products stores will continue to stock foreign otherwise they would be out of business because the store down the road will stock it and it will be cheaper. If people stop buying foreign then companies would stop stocking foreign, but I don't see that happening anytime soon because people want cheap.

    Honestly, I would be more impressed if they would return to their old pledge to buy and stock American products first and stock foreign products as a second choice. Anyone else remember this?
