Volunteers Needed for Earth Day Clean-up Event

Volunteers are still needed for the fifth annual Green & Clean, Earth Day community-wide clean-up.

In 2012, 3.44 tons trash were collected by 550 volunteers.

This years event will be held Saturday, April 26, the Saturday after Earth Day. The event kicks off at Corporate Cove Tower in Wausau beginning at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers will help clean-up areas in Wausau, Rib Mountain, Schofield, Rothschild and Weston.
