Volunteers Key to Trivia Success

As the world's largest trivia contest in Stevens Point gets started on its 45th year, event organizers take time to thank all of those who donate time in order to make the event a success year after year.

From UWSP students and community members answering phones, to helping with registration, it's a task organizers alone could never do themselves.

"I can't do it without all the help. All the questions that John and I put together don't mean anything if there is not a team to put this on." says event organizer Jim Oliva.

One of the most impressive aspects of the trivia contest is the fact that it runs non-stop for 54 hours. That means volunteers are needed during the entire time.

The trivia contest runs through Sunday at noon.
