The Sheriff's Department has released new information about a shooting incident Monday afternoon near Tomahawk.
Monday, Newschannel 7 first told you a 66-year-old man was brought to a Tomahawk hospital after he was shot in the Town of Somo, near Tomahawk.
Wednesday, during an interview with investigators, the victim, Charles Lawn said he shot himself accidentally in the neck with a .22 long rifle while rabbit hunting with friends.
On Monday, Lawn was listed in fair condition.
No criminal charges are being sought at this time.
