The 47th Annual Tomahawk Venison Feed will be held this Friday, November 16 in downtown Tomahawk beginning at 11:30 am. More than 1,000 people attend the event each year to kick off the gun hunting season.
"The Venison Feed is my favorite event that the Chamber hosts, the event is a time-honored tradition for our community and our visitors who come back each year," said Tamra Anderson, executive director for the Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce, "this is our way of thanking hunters and other visitors to the area."
The Venison Feed is a long-standing tradition in Tomahawk where the Chamber serves free venison hamburgers to welcome visitors and deer hunters to the area.
