Tickets for Girls Basketball Tourney on Sale Saturday
Tickets for the 2013 Girls State Basketball Tournament will go on sale at 11 am. on Saturday, January 12.
Last spring, the WIAA voted to move the girls tournament from Madison to the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. The girls tournament had been in Madison for 36 years. The tournament is scheduled for March 14-16.
The WIAA decided to keep the boys state tournament in Madison.
According to WLUK-TV, the Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau estimate the economic impact of the 3-day tournament to be around $3 million.
