Texas Roadhouse to Offer Free Lunch for Food Pantry Donation
Texas Roadhouse in Wausau is giving away free lunches this week in exchange for a donation to the Salvation Army of Marathon County. The donation can be a monetary or non-perishable food item.
It's the sixth year the restaurant has hosted the event. This year they hope to raise $20,000.
The lunch will be held four consecutive days beginning on Tuesday, November 13 and ending Friday, November 16. Each day the lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 1 pm by volunteers in the community.
The free lunch includes a pulled pork sandwich, steak fries, apple sauce, fresh baked bread with honey cinnamon butter and beverage.
To date this event has raised more than $70,000 and served more than 7,500 free meals.
Texas Roadhouse is located at 4800 Rib Mountain Road in Wausau.
