All Trails are open with the exception of the trail from Highway’s C, H, and I to the Lincoln County line, due to a bridge in need of repair. Trails are in fair to good condition, needing more snow as there is little moisture in the snow that we have currently.
Trail Closure #1: Approximately 13 miles between intersection 458 (Corky's in Shantytown) to intersection 459 (Ashley Tavern & Ballroom) are closed until Monday, January 6, 2014. This trail is in the SE Zone..
The Minocqua Forest Riders Snowmobile trail system in northwest Oneida County will not open at this time.
Zone 1, is open and in fair condition,. Zone 2, will open Friday Jan. 3rd at 5 p.m., north of HWY 66 West of County Rd. Y. Trails are in fair condition. The rest of Zone 2 is closed at this time. Also Zone 3 and 4 are closed at this time because of poor snow conditions.
Snowmobile trails are open and are in fair to good early winter riding condition.
OPEN with the exception of
Zone 3B, Zone 4B, and Zone 4C
Will open Dec. 27 at 7 a.m. with the exception of the B and F trail south of Hannibal.
The Pine line is open right now for snowmobiles.
The tourism board says the trails are still in early season condition and caution is strongly recommended. The opening is with the exception of the Phelps trails which will remain closed until further notice.
Zones 1 & 2 and 5 are open
Zone 4 will be opening at noon Dec. 26 except from Intersection 40 to 40A
Zone 7 will open at noon Dec. 26
Zone 3 is open except from Intersection 12 to the Outagamie County line (standing corn)
Zone 6 is open except from Intersection 29A to 37A (standing corn)
Zone 8 is open except from Intersection 44 to 45
With the exception of the Eureka Connector to Winnebago Co.
Zone 4 is Open
All other trails remain closed.
