Authorities say one person is in the hospital Sunday after a plane crashed a mile southeast of Elcho.
The Langlade County Sheriff's Department says the plane lost engine power around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a field off County Highway K.
Deputy Eric Chernetski says two people were inside the single engine plane. The passenger was taken to Rhinelander Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The pilot was not injured.
The FAA will come up Monday to investigate the crash.
