Charges could be filed this week against a 49-year-old Adams County man accused of growing marijuana on his property in the Town of New Chester, which is west of Westfield.

According to the Sheriff's Office, on October 5 investigators executed a search warrant at the home of Phillip Revels. Deputies found 30 cultivated marijuana plants and other items used in the processing of marijuana. The department says they received a tip from investigators in neighboring Marquette County leading to the bust.

Adams County Sheriff Sam Wollin stated, “The cooperative efforts and the sharing of information lead to the Sheriff’s Office being able to obtain the warrant and remove the illegal drugs from the community.”
