The SPASH Panthers overcame a 4-0 deficit after 2 innings to beat Oconomowoc 6-4 in the WIAA D1 Baseball State Quarterfinals.
Austin Schulfer gave up 4 runs in 1.1 innings, before being relieved by Logan Mallek.
Mallek shut down the Raccoons the rest of the way, going 5.2 innings, with 7 strikeouts and one hit. Seth Merrill drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning for the Panthers. 5 different Panthers had an RBI.
The Panthers will face #1-ranked Sun Prairie in Tuesday night's semifinals. SPASH lost to Sun Prairie 6-4 earlier in the season.
