The Wis. Valley Fair officially opens at noon Tuesday, and that means crews have been busy all week setting up food stands, livestock exhibits, the grandstand and, of course, dozens of rides.

The carnival rolled into town early Monday morning with 22 rides, including three brand new ones. And although it may seem like a chaotic 24 hours, those involved say it's actually a well-organized process.

"There's 44 semi and pick up loads," said Pat Repp, the general manager of North American Midway Entertainment. "So it all has to be coordinated together but, you know, I have good staff under me, I guess, it all went smooth."

The fair goes through Sunday, where it'll end with the demolition derby beginning at 6p.m.
