Rhinelander High School's budding music program has taught kids how to express themselves in different ways and one young musician is getting ready to embark on a journey of a lifetime.

Senior Marilla McKay has loved music since she was a little girl, but more importantly she's loves to stroke the keys of the grand piano. And now her skills honed at Rhinelander High School are giving her an opportunity of a lifetime.

McKay says, "I've been playing piano for 8 to 9 years and last year I wanted to take it to the next level. And I knew about Juliard so I applied and am looking forward to the audition."

McKay says music is her life and she's learned to dream big from her teacher.
