Police Seeking info on Missing Guns from Wis. Rapids

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is asking for information regarding four guns taken from a two vehicles over the weekend.

The department says on Saturday around 4:30 am, police responded to a hotel in the 4200 block of 8th. Police say the person or persons responsible broke the windows of two vehicles and stole two shotguns and two rifles.

Police say two the guns were valued at $1,000 each.

Here are descriptions of the missing guns:

A Browning 7mm Winchester Short Mag Rifle with an Icon ProStaff scope and is a left-handed bolt action. Valued at $1,000.

Ruger 7mm bolt-action Rifle with a stainless steel barrel and a laminated wood stock also known as a zebra stock and has a silver colored Nikon scope. Valued at $1,000.

Remington 12 gauge 870 Express Shotgun. Valued at $250.

Ithaca 16 Gauge Pump Shotgun. Valued at $250.
