A 22-year-old Wausau man who was arrested Thursday morning after officers discovered two guns, including one that was stolen, in his car during a crash investigation has now been charged.
Police say they found the weapons and drug paraphernalia after responded to a report a car vs. parked car accident on Wausau westside. The crashed happened just before 7:30 am on 3rd Avenue. Police say a vehicle driven by Pao Vang flipped and landed on its roof after crashing into a parked car. Police have not said how fast Vang may have been driving as the crash is still under investigation.
He's charged with two count of illegally possessing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting an officer and bail jumping.
He'll return to court on October 10.
