Obama to Visit Master Lock in Milwaukee Next Week

President Barack Obama will visit Master Lock in Milwaukee on Wednesday.

A White House official announced the location of the president's visit Friday. The official says Obama plans to discuss the importance of American manufacturing and companies investing in American manpower.

Obama highlighted Master Lock in his State of the Union address last month for moving jobs back to the U.S. from China. The padlock and security products manufacturer has returned about 100 union jobs to its Milwaukee factory since mid-2010.

The company says the decision to bring the jobs back to Milwaukee was partially motivated by increasingly higher labor and logistics costs in Asia and ongoing labor challenges in the coastal areas of China.

Great to see manufaturing jobs coming back to our nation. Sadly, our state hasn't been doing as well as others in the recovery. It's also nice to see some quality Wisconsin products selling well. However, it'd be better if our society desired only a latch to keep rain, wind, & cold out. In contrast, we want Master Locks & concealed carry to keep others at bay...Welcome to Wisconsin!

Dear Mr. Obama It is come to the attention why you do a fantastic job for what you are doing. You can careless what your critics think. I myself am wondering why your critics aren't running for elected positions or in that matter the Presdency itself. Critics have a tendency to do that criticize without realizing, We as Americans, voted you to be our President. We know from your past experiences in teaching, being a community group leader, and practicing attorny and a state politician has molded you to be the person to be our President. It's not easy being born in Hawaii to living in Chciago. This gives you more credibility to be the President of the United States. At least you know where you came from, you know the realities better than 99.9% of the G.O.P. and at least 75% of the DNC. Living in Chicago has taught you the diversity of the microcosm of the United State with many different cultures, ideas, religeons, and your able to draw on those past experiences this is what makes you the much better canidate than everyone that is running for the Prsesidency. I am in awe of you because you know what the next move is what it shall be. I beleive in giving people second chances, I hope you learned your lessons from this term in office and I hope you can take America farther into the 21st Century and give the next generation a reason to vote, and a better chance at a greater tommorrow. Yes we Can. P.S. visit Wisconsin more often even it isn't an election. Sincerely, You got my vote Kristopher

What jobs is Walker bringing to Wisconsin? We are still waiting. You stated you are Catholic and you will vote against Obama. Well that means a Republican vote. If you listened to the candidates for President, you would realize they even want to control your bedroom. They want to remove birth control along with abortion. Place those Repubs. in power and then watch population grow in this country. How can people making the wage we now have provide for a larger family? Think before being stupid! One other thing don't you feel the Catholic chuurch should place worrying about children and predators first?

I'm catholic and my wife uses birth control its our choice I agree we can't afford more kids along with 98 percent of catholics. What you don't understand is this the government has no right tell the church what it can do in its hospitals, schools etc!!! Thats why the firestorm from us catholics he stomped on our 1st admendment rights scary stuff as a catholic and most religions. Its about freedom its about seperation of church and state Obama new he would lose in any court. So you we catholics pushed back enough said and by the way we voted for Obama last time this changed most of our minds this time around.

Our Lieutenant Governor said she believes that healthcare decisions should be between the patient & doctor. Since she is supposedly 100% Pro-Life too, that means she believes in free healthcare for all? It's the only way to make her statements cohesive. Also, since she doesn't believe in government involvement: who pays for her universal full-coverage free healthcare? A very curious combination indeed!

Mr. Anonymous, please I'm sorry you feel you religeon and your right to terrorize women has been defeated by common sense approach to womens health. I'm sorry to tell all you catholics out there this is not the Catholic States of America. I'm sorry to be burst your guys bubble. I'm also very sorry to say Obama did respect your very die hard catholic beliefs. He pretty open the door for every woman young and old tho free health screenings conterceptive practices wow for the very low price of free. What woman wouldn't what a bargain like that? For all you ladies out there feel free to take advantage of this before it's too late. WOW!!!! OBAMA does have your back and your vote. A common sense approach to healthcare and also a gateway for single payer. Isn't this amazing free healthcare for everyone!!!!!!! And if you desire to get insurance oh you can get that too if you want. To all the Obama haters out there why look a gift horse in the mouth? Seriously, Hospitals will have a guarentee payment, no need for claims now long waits at the er, You go in and out without the stress of wondering if your claim is going to get paid? Because it is already been paid. Doctor Physicians Surgeonss X-ray Technicians nurses need not worry about budget cut cuts or being. I may not like what Obama did in 09 with healthcare but it is the beggining of a beautiful blossom.

The Vatican claimed that each diocese operates their own affairs & does not report to the Pope, or the Vatican. This was during a clergy abuse issue a year or two ago. I'm curious how the Pope can now order hospital closures. Are United States hospitals owned & operated by the Diocese of Rome, Italy directly? Are they Papal Estates? If not: there's two more options. 1. The Vatican is operating by opportunist tactics (without a moral compass). I highly doubt the preceding is true. 2. The other option is you cannot find a reputable & citable source (because the claim is untrue).
