Safe-Way Bus Transit in Wisconsin Rapids says a bus driver was not injured when it was rear ended during a chain reaction crash around 7:25 Wednesday morning.
The bus was driving on E. Riverview Expressway returning to the hub from Lincoln High School went it was struck from behind. No students were on board the time.
According to the Wisconsin Rapids Police Dept., the bus was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of 16th Street S. A car behind the bus, was rear ended by another driver, and was pushed under the bus.
The driver that caused the crashed will be cited with inattentive driving and 2nd offense operating while suspended.
