Mount Horeb Lt. Facing Child Sexual Assault Charges
A Dane County man is expected to be charged with child sexual assault, after being arrested Wednesday on the allegations of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
According to WMTV, the suspect, Dennis Jenks is also a lieutenant with the Mount Horeb Police Department. Jenks is currently suspended.
Jenks, 44, has been with the Mount Horeb Police Department since 2000. According to Department's website, he's previously worked with the Iowa County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Barneveld, Blue Mounds and Dodgeville police departments.
The Madison and Mount Horeb police departments are both investigating.
