The Portage County Boys and Girls Club is offering a free money management series during the next several weeks at their Stevens Point location.
The Money Matters series helps teens understand how to save up for things like a car or put money aside for college.
These interactive classes are taught by financial expert, Jim Robinson, and are open to all high school students and parents. For regular attendees, there will be weekly incentives and a pizza party after the final class.
The series will be held at The Boys & Girls Club Stevens Point location at 1007 Ellis Street, Stevens Point.
The classes will be held from 5:30-6:30pm on each of the following dates:
Wednesday, February 6th - Fundamentals of Investing
Wednesday, March 20th – Finding Money for College
Wednesday, April 10th – The Importance of a Credit Score
Wednesday, May 8th – Review Challenge!
