MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin should add about 3,000 jobs a month next year according to a new economic forecast by the state Department of Revenue.

The quarterly report issued Thursday says the state's economy is growing at a moderate pace.

The report says about 38,000 jobs were added in 2011 and 2012, with another 36,000 expected next year. Based on those estimates, that would be about 74,000 jobs over the first three years of Gov. Scott Walker's term.

He promised in 2010 that he would add 250,000 jobs over four years.

The forecast says the state's unemployment rate should be about 6.8 percent in 2013 and drop to 5.8 percent by 2015. It also says personal income growth should be about 3.7 percent next year.
