Marshfield Man Pleads Not Guilty to Ex-girlfriend's Murder

The 20-year-old Marshfield man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend has pleaded not guilty and will head to trial.

Gabriel Campos is charged with 1st degree intentional homicide. He remains behind bars on a $5,000,000 bond.

Prosecutors say on September 7, the body of Maisie McCullough,18 was found in the bathtub of the home the couple once shared with their young child.

A forensic pathologist who preformed the autopsy on McCullough determined the cause of death to be multiple sharp force injuries, including a cut to her throat that severed her airway, right jugular vein and carotid artery.

Investigators say a single set of shoe prints left at the scene matches shoes Gabriel Campos was wearing when he turned himself into police nearly six hours later.
