Man in Custody After Fire, Death in Beaver Dam

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Department says a man is in custody after authorities discovered a body when they put out a fire in Beaver Dam.

The Cambria man is being called a person of interest in the case.
Sheriff's officials say they were called to a fire at a residence at the Maple Grove Trailer Court in the Town of Elba. After the fire was put out, a body was discovered inside. The person's identity has not been confirmed and authorities are still investigating the cause of death.

Authorities are also still trying to determine how the fire started.
