A 56-year-old man has died following a one-vehicle accident in Oneida County.
According to a press release, on Thursday, Jan. 10 just after 3 pm dispatched received a call stating that a car drove off the road and struck a tree on Stella Lake Road, which is northeast of Rhinelander.
The driver, Eldred Pagel, of Crandon, was transported to a Rhinelander hospital where he was pronounced dead.
