WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus was scheduled to host a drive-in movie event at dusk tonight. Unfortunately, inclement weather has forced the postponement of tonight’s drive-in movie. Event organizers rescheduled the event for April 30.
Event details remain the same. The movie will begin at dusk and take place in the Protective Services Training Area/E Building parking lot on the south side of Wisconsin Rapids Campus (500 32nd Street South). Cars will be allowed to enter as early as 6:30 p.m., and organizers estimate the movie will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The cost is $5.00 per vehicle, and the event is open to the public. Vehicles with one or more MSTC students are free of charge; students are asked to show MSTC ID or provide their MSTC student ID number. Enjoy free popcorn; other concessions will be available for purchase.
While licensing restrictions prevent event organizers from revealing the name of the movie, they provided the following information so parents could decide if the movie sounds appropriate for family viewing: “Join us as Anna teams up with Kristoff and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in an epic journey to find Anna's sister, Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.”
This event is sponsored by MSTC Campus Activities and Student Senate.
