Last Weekend Of Magic At Art Museum

Magic is in the air, but only for a short time at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau. Sunday is the last day for the Mystery, Magic, and Mayhem exhibits at the museum.

On Saturday, a psychology professor from Lawrence University in Appleton, who also is a magician, came to show off his skills in a magic show and shared some of the mind tricks magicians use to fool spectators.

"The magician will hijack the audience's attention and that allows the magician to create an effect in the audience's mind because that's where the real magic occurs, not in the hands of the magician, but in the minds of the spectators," said Professor and Magician Bruce Hetzler.

On Sunday, there will be a Magic Poetry Reading, as April is National Poetry Month. All of the activities and exhibits are free.
