17th Annual Results of Journeys Marathon

The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has announced the results of the 17th Annual Results of Journeys Marathon.

They say 2013 brought an all time record number of participants – a total of 1028 runners/walkers. The last record was set in 2010 with 1027 entries. Participants this year represented 16 different states including Wisconsin plus a runner from Sydney, Australia.

•Jenna Southworth Marshfield, WI 1:28:04

Overall Male Half Marathon Winner
•Jeffrey Quednow Westboro, WI 1:17:45

Overall Female Power Walk
•Sarah Hutkowski Wisconsin Rapids, WI 2:32:40

Overall Male Power Walk
•Jeff Koppa Aniwa, WI 2:19:54

Overall Female 5K
•Krystal Stevens Appleton, WI 22:12

Overall Male 5K
•Mark Shepherdson Eagle River, WI 19:30

The 2013 - 17th Annual Journeys Marathon was a great success. The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center congratulates all participants and looks forward to seeing everyone next year at our 18th Annual Journeys Marathon on May 10, 2014.
