Garbage and recycling hauler IROW, based in Mosinee, says they'll switch three of the their 17 trucks to compressed natural gas.

According to Central Wisconsin Business magazine, owner Cory Tomczyk said fuels costs are driving the conversion. He said he pays more than $4 a gallon for diesel and that CNG will cost him only $2.17 a gallon.

"The only thing that is keeping me from switching all the trucks is the amount of money I can borrow," Tomczyk tells the paper. "There is a payback for this, but you have to make the investment.
