Hunter's Widow's Weekend
The nine day gun-deer hunting season kicks off Saturday, but why should men have all the fun? The Shoppes at Wood Ridge Marshfield Mall is hosting their annual "Hunter's Widows Weekend." Even if you're not a "hunter's widow," there's something for everyone.
"We have vendors with everything from personal care items so that we can pamper ourselves while the hunters are out hunting and we can hunt for bargains. Christmas shopping pretty much begins this weekend," Cindy Gosser of The Shoppes at Wood Ridge told NewsChannel 7.
Over a thousand people also packed the mall to wake up Santa this morning. He and Mrs. Clause spent the day hearing kids' Christmas lists. Santa will be at the mall every weekend until Christmas.
